ABOUT THE PROJECT
A dual-innovation strategy for gender equality
BGB-VET aims to transform the approach of European VET institutions towards gender equality by implementing ethically designed AI virtual scenarios and Gender Equality Plans (GEPs), effectively addressing identified needs across vocational education.
The project brings together partners from Ireland, Finland, Bulgaria, Sweden, Italy and Türkiye to ensure diverse participation and adaptable results across different educational contexts.

OUR GOALS
Specific objectives
Project management
Establish effective project management practices guaranteeing gender equality and clear monitoring mechanisms.
Gender Equality Framework
Develop a complete Gender Equality Framework Analysis for VET institutions through data from 6 countries and 600+ questionnaire responses.
Virtual scenarios design
Design intelligent virtual scenarios for addressing gender bias with 3 interactive narrative paths focused on workplace discrimination.
Blended training programme
Design and deliver a blended training programme on gender-responsive teaching, engaging 60 VET teachers through a 6-module MOOC.
AI-enhanced platform
Develop and test a fully functional AI-enhanced virtual simulation platform, tested with 180 VET students for 85% user acceptance.
Dissemination and sustainability
Implement an effective dissemination strategy and establish Gender Equality Plans across all partner VET institutions.
