The presentation will introduce the project’s main goals, activities and innovative approaches, including how AI and practical tools can help VET organisations recognise and address gender bias. Participants will discover how the project aims to support more inclusive and equal learning and working environments.

  Breaking Gender Bias: Rethinking Gender Roles in Education and Work [Erasmus Days 2026]

  Across Europe, shortage occupations still lack gender balance, and gender stereotypes continue to shape young people's study and career choices. Hosted by OpenCom in Arezzo and inspired by the Erasmus+ project BGB-VET “Breaking Gender Bias in VET”, this interactive session invites Erasmus students to reflect together on gender norms across their countries, recognise bias in everyday educational and workplace situations, and explore their own role as agents of change.
